We enrolled Lulu into swimming lessons the minute she hit 6 months. I want her to be a strong swimmer for safety reasons but I also want her to enjoy the water recreationally. I grew up in Southern California so enjoying the water was a must – beaches and pools were year round destinations for our family. When I was 12, my dad and I were certified SCUBA divers and we spent many weekends kicking around under the sea. Lulu has so many fun adventures ahead of her and I hope that some of them include water sports.
During the summer, we enjoy the pool most days and I’d like for that to continue. As it gets colder outside it will be harder to make ourselves go to the pool – even an indoor pool leaves you chilly as you run to the car with wet hair or squeaky flip flops. Here are a few options for you if you are looking for swim lessons for your kids. Please inquire with each location for price details as well as available dates and times. If you find any other programs, please let me know!
