While we don’t need any new clothes for Baby Blueberry (since she is our second girl and will be born in the same season as Lulu), Lulu is about to make that jump to 2T clothing! To this point in my child raising experience, I have done the majority of my baby clothes shopping at consignment sales, children’s used clothing stores and yard sales. Nothing beats a GAP sweater for 99 cents or Children’s Place jeans for $1.50. I bought an umbrella stroller and some great toys for Lulu at a consignment sale. Lulu’s entire first Christmas were items from the consignment sale!
The BIGGEST and best consignment sale in the Indianapolis area is taking place at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville (2003 Pleasant Street, Noblesville, IN 46060), Wednesday, March 8th through Saturday, March 10th. Admission is free but if you’d like to check out the pre-sale and get in on Wednesday at 7pm, buy your $5 VIP early admission ticket today! These will sell out, maybe even before you read this!
Experience and quality matter — we know that you are serious when it comes to shopping and bargains, so do the nice people at Indy Kids Consignment. With you in mind, they created a VERY helpful list of shopping tips. Read them and learn! I wish I had read this before I visited my first sale. That umbrella stroller? I bought it out of necessity, I found so many great deals that I could no longer carry everything, thus needing to purchase a stroller to carry it all!
When you enter, you will find over 40,000 seasonal items in great condition (or brand new!). Please bring cash, Visa or Mastercard (no checks).
Also, there is a diaper and wipes drive taking place during the sale to benefit the Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County. If you have some extras, bring them in! If you’re like us, you over-bought some diapers at a great deal and then your child went into the next size, right?
*Emily C. and 4Tunate are the winners of our VIP shopping passes! Yay!
