The city I grew up in hosted a fireworks celebration every year and it was an event that my brother, sister and I looked forward to with great excitement. Does your family have a summer tradition that your kids look forward to year after year?
This year, the city of Greenwood will host their annual Freedom Festival on June 29th. A one day event that begins with a street fair and parade and ends with a night of picnics in the park with a microbeer and wine area, a car show, musical performances, food and one of the largest fireworks shows in Central Indiana.
We’ve taken the babies almost every year and I am always shocked to see nearly everyone I know is at the event! I had no idea so many people lived in Greenwood. The music is fun, the crowd has a great time and the fireworks are pretty cool. We enjoyed the food and there were a lot of FREE fun activities and inflatables for kids. Hope to see you there this year!
