Almost every day I hear about something super cool going on in Indianapolis and there’s just no time for me to share every opportunity with you. When one of you wrote to me about what was going on at the canal as part of the White River Festival, I had to investigate it further because it just seemed too good to be true! Well, it’s too good and soooo true!
This Friday, September 7th from 5pm to 11pm, check out the EMBARK and ROW exhibits at the Indiana History Center for free and afterwards, stay for the movie Dolphin Tale on the terrace. Not only that, but there will be free gondola rides, free pedal boat rentals and free bike rentals! You are invited to bring a picnic dinner and chairs. If it rains, the movie will be show indoors in the Basile Theatre.
Oh wait, there’s more!
On Saturday from 10am-5pm, the Indiana History Center will offer free admission to the exhibits again as well as the Indiana Experience. There will also be other family friendly activities offered to continue encouraging Indiana families to think about their relationship to water.
The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center is located at 450 West Ohio Street, Indianapolis.
