While we don’t need any new clothes for Baby Scout (she was born during the same season as her older sister), Lulu is now a 2T kid! The majority of my children’s clothes shopping has taken place at consignment sales, children’s used clothing stores and yard sales. Nothing beats a GAP sweater for 99 cents or Children’s Place jeans for $1.50. All of Lulu’s first Christmas presents were items from the consignment sale!
A HUGE children’s consignment sale is taking place in the Indianapolis area at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville (2003 Pleasant Street, Noblesville, IN 46060), Thursday, September 13th through Saturday, September 15th. THEN, there will be a SECOND Indy Kids Consignment Sale at the Hancock County Fairgrounds Thursday, September 27th-Saturday, September 29th! Admission is free but if you’d like to check out the pre-sale and get in on Wednesday at 6pm, buy your $5 VIP early admission ticket today! These will sell out, maybe even before you read this!
Experience and quality matter — we know that you are serious when it comes to shopping and bargains, so do the nice people at Indy Kids Consignment. With you in mind, they created a VERY helpful list of shopping tips. Read them and learn! I wish I had read this before I visited my first sale. That umbrella stroller? I bought it out of necessity, I found so many great deals that I could no longer carry everything, thus needing to purchase a stroller to carry it all!
When you enter, you will find over 40,000 seasonal items in great condition (or brand new!). To make your life easier, this sale is set up to sell only items for the coming season! You won’t be picking through bathingsuits and tank tops, you’ll be able to buy exactly what you need! Please bring cash, Visa or Mastercard (no checks).
Hours are Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-1pm and SATURDAY is HALF PRICE DAY!
