Tip for 2013: Don’t miss Santa’s Big Arrival Nov. 29, 8:30–10 a.m. Santa is arriving at the museum faster than ever this season in a Dallara IndyCar! After his speedy arrival, he will make his traditional jolly trip down the Yule Slide, around 9:50 a.m. From 8:30–10 a.m. receive 30% off in The Museum Store and a FREE youth admission with paid adult.
It’s no secret that we’re the second biggest fans of the the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis. I don’t know who the FIRST biggest fan is but I’m giving the benefit of the doubt that someone out there MIGHT love it more than us. My favorite time to go? CHRISTMAS! Jolly Days is such a treat! There’s nothing better than watching your kid just have a BLAST figuring out new stuff and doing something year after year and loving it still. What a blast!
One of my favorite parts is that YOU get to play right along side your kids. The Yule Slide is just something you HAVE to experience. Lulu was a year a half old when she slid down with her daddy for the first time and she LOVED it!
Ice skating indoors (warm ice skating) on a synthetic ice floor was such such a treat. There were snowball fights, ice fishing (Lulu’s favorite), the ice castle, the kitchen and all of the great year round fun made our Jolly Days visit such fun! Visit with Santa Nov. 29–Dec. 24 Tuesdays–Fridays, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Dec. 5, 11 a.m.–8 p.m. (Target Free Family Night, 4–8 p.m.) Dec. 23, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Dec. 24, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Please note: The museum is closed on Mondays in December with the exception of Dec. 23.. Photos are available for a fee but you are also welcome to take your own photos! Yay!
Don’t miss it this year!
