Not only do so many of the holiday events begin early this month, but they SELL OUT in November! You’ll want to check out the special holiday train rides below and get your tickets NOW! Do not wait! There is a reason that my children have never been on a Polar Express Train Ride in Indiana, or a Polar Bear Express Train Ride in Noblesville or any sort of Christmas Train Ride! We even considered driving to French Lick for their Polar Express Train Ride for kids but that was sold out too!
A lot of the Christmas train rides are more than a ride! The kids will hear stories, experience the ride, sip hot cocoa and then actually exit the train at another stop (the North Pole) to see Santa. The train ride to the North Pole is just long enough for excited kids!
BRAG POLAR BEAR EXPRESS | One Night Only! Binford Redevelopment and Growth, Inc. presents the Polar Bear Express for one evening only. Board the train at Steinmeier Station, then travel to Fishers and on through Noblesville’s town square to the “North Pole” which is located at the Indiana Transportation Museum in Forest Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride the train. At the “North Pole” the Polar Bear will board the train for the return trip and will visit with each of the children. During the trip everyone will receive hot cocoa and a cookie. All children will receive a special gift from Santa (We’ve heard its a Polar Bear of their very own). Cookies and drinks are given to the children on the way to Forest Park. If your child has food allergies, please do not accept the treats. Tickets are $30 per person, age 2 and up. Children under 2 ride free but MUST sit on a lap. Children are encouraged to wear pajamas but keep in mind that it will likely be very, very cold while they are waiting for the train.
THE POLAR EXPRESS rolls into Connersville’s Grand Central Station (about 1 hour from Indy) this Holiday Season. The Polar Express will come to life when the train departs Connersville’s Grand Central Station for a journey through the quiet countryside for a special visit to the “North Pole” with Santa Claus. Tickets are $32.50 per person age 2 and up or $29 if you ride the matinee trains or early bird specials early in November. Dates: November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and December5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14.
If $30 is just a bit much for the budget (I hear ya!), the Santa Claus Limited is only $10 per person. It only runs three times and only on ONE DAY! Santa Claus will board the train and visit with each child. Ticket are available NOW for Friday, November 28th.
The POLAR BEAR EXPRESS will depart from the Fishers Train Station (presented by the Indiana Transportation Museum). Snowflake, the beloved polar bear, greets passengers at Fishers Station before boarding the Polar Bear Express. Santa and Mrs. Claus lead an interactive experience on the train and passengers are served a snack and beverage. For $30 (passengers 2 and up), ride from Fishers to Noblesville and back again with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Dates: November 29, 30 and December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23
French Lick is home to the Polar Bear Express experience. Once the train is underway, the conductor will punch your ticket as the book, The Polar Express, is read aloud and enhanced with song and dance by our crew, with a special Cookie & Hot Chocolate presentation, just like in the movie! When the train pulls into the North Pole, we pick up Santa Claus himself and he presents each child with their own “first gift of the season”, a shiny silver sleigh bell. You will also be entertained by Santa’s elves with interactive songs and dance that everyone can participate in. Children and parents are encouraged to wear their pajamas. 2014 is SOLD OUT. Tickets for 2015 are on sale now.
We’re putting on our jammies for a night of fun and adventure that’s sure to create wonderful memories and provide lots of photos of our experience.
