Does your child aspire to be a firefighter or simply enjoy pretending to be one with his or her imagination? If so, then the annual “Firefighter for a Day” children’s camp hosted by Carmel Fire Department and St. Vincent Carmel Hospital may be the perfect one day event for your son or daughter (ages 7-13 year olds)! Last year, my son participated in this wildly fun camp, and he absolutely, positively loved every moment of it! He must have played firefighter nearly every day last summer after experiencing this camp! He has been eagerly awaiting for Carmel Fire Department to open registration for this summer’s Firefighter for a Day camp, and the time is finally here! Parents, this event is a wonderful educational experience for your children and teaches skills on how to be safe during an emergency situation. Additionally, Firefighter for a Day Camp is free and includes lunch for each participant! Below are further details along with a link for registration.
