The Free Kids Corral features giant rocking horses, face painting, coloring, pony rides, a petting zoo, rope making and some other activities especially for kids! I absolutely love it when event planners remember the smaller kids in the family and make a special space just for them! Kids can learn to throw a rope, ride a pony and more! This year everyone is talking about the Mid America Cowgirls Rodeo Team. You can see them perform in the Youth Pavilion on Saturday and Sunday. Their riding skills are impressive and their outfits catch my daughter’s eye.
The entire weekend is jam packed with demonstrations and exhibits and clinics that will help horse fans get their fill of information and education.
Advance tickets for the Hoosier Horse Fair are available at Marsh or online $7 for ages 7-12, $12 for 12 and up. Children 6 and under are free! Ticket prices at the gate are $9 ages 7-12 and $15 for 12 and up.
