Prancing Ponies is an up and coming agritourism spot for young families. Brooke and her family have opened the door to their home and let the public come play in their front yard. The biggest draw? $5
Wednesdays through October 31
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
$5 for kids, adults free
pony rides. For $5 your kids can ride miniature ponies all day long (11am – 5pm) every Wednesday through October 31st.
Take a break and picnic at one of the shaded tables or play on the playground equipment or splash at the water table.
Snow, the resident goat might greet you as you run around the yard. The bunnies and chickens and ducks are ready to be pet and held. Check out the sheep and pigs and calf at the back of the property.
A clear example of a family animal farm and home based business, Prancing Ponies has a lot of growth in their future. Weekends are busy with onsite and off site birthday parties and this fall visitors will be able to purchase locally grown meat.
Restroom facilities are available in the family home. Cold beverages are for sale. Cash or credit card. Rain or shine! You may want to call ahead to be sure the ponies are available on the Wednesday you choose to visit. We drove from the south side of Indianapolis/Greenwood and it took 45 minutes. (317) 514-7720
