fall kelsay farms hayrideEvery year summer seems shorter and fall break seems longer! As a full time working out of the home parent with two kids in day care, when the daycare went on breaks for any reason, it was always a struggle for me to find someone to help out with the kids so I could work. Now, as a work from home mom with a somewhat flexible schedule, I’m looking for things to do and places to visit — particularly ones that won’t exhaust our budget.

As a guest on Fox59, I shared a few camps (day camp AND overnight) that kids can go to during fall break if you are a working parent — or just need a fall break yourself. I also shared ten things to do WITH your kids that won’t break the bank. I also have an ongoing list available to you of all the fall fun in Central Indiana. It’s updated every few days. Don’t forget about our calendar that has fall fun buttonTHOUSANDS of family friendly activities and events across central Indiana. If you are looking for Halloween specific events or alternative, that list is here too!

Have a beautiful fall and enjoy spending time with the kids in your life!
