Today is the first day of summer! Soon enough it will run right into fall (September 23rd). Even though all the kids go back to school long before summer is over, here is a gift for your family: The 94 Days of Summer in Indianapolis! Each week we’ll post a list of 7-10 things to do in the Indianapolis area. Some will be visual, some will be events, some will be free and all of them will be awesome! Here’s our first list:

(Day One) June 21st: Play outside or visit your neighborhood park. Today is Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and the sun is out longer (right?) and that means you can play outside longer! Well, as long as it doesn’t rain. We’re hitting the pool when my husband get’s home. The YMCA outdoor pool is open until 8pm!!! Yay!

(Day Two) June 22nd: Watch the Yogi Bear movie at the Metropolis movie theater in Plainfield (FREE)

(Day Three) June 23rd: Wes Montgomery Park Water Spray Park (FREE)

(Day Four) June 24th: Check out the Music at Zoolapalooza at the Indianapolis Zoo ($)

Wes Montgomery Spray Park - Borrowed from Mayor Ballard's Facebook Page

(Day Five) June 25th: Camp Rock Two Fan Van & Radio Disney will be at the John H. Boner Community Center – Check out this new Community Center, a Super Bowl Legacy Project! (FREE)

(Day Six) June 26th: Take a ride on the train in Connersville pulled by Thomas the Tank! ($)

(Day Seven) June 27th: Pick fresh blueberries at Upick Farms.

We’ll send out the next portion of the list on Monday! Have a great week! See you out and about in Indianapolis with kids!
