The newest trend in pop-up art exhibits has hit downtown Indianapolis just in time for the best month in Indy, the month of May! You can visit beginning on May 8th. The Art of Racing galleries are located at: 417 E Ohio, Indianapolis.
‘The Art of Racing’ features local artists and projects that create a totally photo worthy connection with the Indianapolis 500.
Guests will love the colorful exhibits that include interactive experiences such as the historic balloon release at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on race day, jumping into a pool of money after cruising into Victory Circle, and the racing simulator.
You’ve probably seen similar pop-up art exhibits across the country in cities like Los Angeles and Chicago, where guests become a part of the art and find picture perfect moments to share on social media.
The Art of Racing show will also feature an Infinity Room, giving you that unique feeling of race cars zooming past you into infinite space.
This experience will take you about 15-20 minutes to enjoy, make sure you arrive 15 minutes before your time slot, and don’t be late! Your ticket is for a specific time and certain number of tickets are sold for each time slot. The racing simulator has an added fee.
Who we think will like this exhibit: In my experience, I think this attraction is best suited for adults who really love racing and getting that great Instagram picture.
