Brickworld | Indy’s LEGO Fan Expo For the Whole Family | 2017
When Brickworld, the LEGO Fan Expo, moved to the Indiana State Fairgrounds a few years ago, you went wild! And you should have! The displays and interactive stations were first class, full of talent and loved by all ages. This year, Brickworld is in a larger space at the Indiana State Fairgrounds! More space, more to see and more to do! 60,000 SQUARE FEET!
Head out to the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 18th from 10am-6pm and Sunday, March 19th 10am-5pm for even more square feet of LEGO fun! My kids love seeing the displays of cities that have electricity.
We spent a lot of time participating in the seek and find activities throughout the area and then building a community mosaic from LEGO bricks. You’ll (er…the kids) will be able to control the fighting robots, see demonstrations of the robot chess game and play with remote control trucks as they go over rough LEGO brick terrain.
Once your kids see the power of another person’s creativity, their own genius will be unlocked and it will be pretty difficult to control all of the possibilities they want to explore with their own LEGO sets. While you are at the LEGO fan expo, you can purchase customized bricks and people, new sets of the popular bricks and other fun LEGO fan paraphernalia.
Advance ticket purchase online is highly recommended because you can save money AND you won’t have to wait in the ticket sales line when you get there. Last year this saved us at least a 30 minute wait in line since we arrived at a high traffic time. Looking for fewer crowds? In the past, Sunday morning and late Sunday afternoon have had fewer crowds.
