DeBoest Lecture Hall in Newfields
Join a panel of educators from area public and independent Montessori programs to explore the depths of Montessori, including the nuances of being a Montessori parent and what it looks like to walk a less traditional educational path with your child in the day-to-day. They’ll explore the shift away from traditional educational rubrics and environments in favor of fostering an inclusive vision of achievement and what parents can look for to gauge and affirm academic success.
#indyMontessori is honored to additionally be participating in a unique opportunity provided by United Montessori Schools of Indiana (UMSI), to host a partial screening of the new documentary film, Inside Montessori—making Indianapolis just one of many screening locations UMSI has set up to tour the new film and share the benefits of Montessori education. Clips of the film will serve as a jumping off point into conversations.
The audience will also have the opportunity to submit questions to panelists during the evening. Light refreshments, including beer and wine, will be provided.
