The “Minnetrista Theatre Preserves” presents its own spin on Charles Dickens’ classic story, A Christmas Carol. Enjoy the performance together as a family.

This traveling theater production is an outreach of the Minnetrista Museum, which was endowed by the Ball Brothers Company, a former family manufacturer of canning jars in Muncie, Indiana. Using props, costumes, sets, and professional actors, MTP weaves stories that leave audiences “spellbound and imagining like never before.”

This year’s Dickens adaptation has ties to the Ball family history. In 1925, Ball Brothers designed and printed a special edition book of A Christmas Carol as a gift for friends, family, and employees. They tucked a note inside each copy that read, “. . . Read it out loud with all the family around. Read it every year before Christmas . . .”
