This free event is a wonderful opportunity for tweens and teens to hear from adoptees who have walked the path before them. This is an event exclusively for children. Parents will be invited to congregate at a nearby coffee house.

Topics that may be discussed include birth parents, reasons for relinquishment, absence of medical/social history, feelings of grief, missing first families, abandonment, rejection, confusion, birth country travel, changes in caregivers, foster placements & institutional care.

The moderator, Tara Vanderwoude, will assist with taking questions privately that may not be appropriate for the whole group should any arise. Bio for Tara Vanderwoude can be found here:
