Let’s learn about the terror of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake by meeting to discuss Into the Firestorm by Deborah Hopkinson. This novel tells the tale of a young boy and his heroic fight to not only survive but also help others during the earthquake and the fires that ensued.
Registration is required and begins July 26. This discussion will take place at the Gazebo at Carmel Civic Square. Please bring your own chairs to the event and feel free to bring your own snacks to enjoy during the discussion.
