Celebrating Curious George | November 3 11-2 pmCome learn about winter holidays through fun, hands-on STEM activities during “Celebrating with Curious George! Kids of all ages will love playing drums, making and flying kites, bouncing (plastic) ornaments, and making dreidels from upcycled materials! Parents will love that their children can engage in scientific inquiry while also learning about the different cultures that make our community so vibrant. They can even get a picture with Curious George & the Man in the Yellow Hat!

This is a FREE event that is truly meant for children of any age. The STEM activities were created by PBS Kids and can easily be tailored to the age of your child. Food will be available for purchase from Brozinni Pizzeria and BRICS Ice Cream food trucks.

Immediately following “Celebrating with Curious George,” families will be invited to bring a blanket and grab some popcorn for a picnic-style movie screening of the family friendly documentary Monkey Business: The Adventures of Curious George’s Creators.

This event is brought to you by the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, WFYI Indianapolis, and CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
