Join Fishers Parks and Hamilton East Public Library staff for a live reading of “A Day So Gray,” followed by a fun DIY sensory bottle activity from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, at Holland Park.
On display December 1 through 31, this self-guided hike around Holland Park features the children’s book “A Day So Gray” by Marie Lamba. The winter-themed book celebrates the hues and comforts of a cozy winter day as a discontented girl first notices only dull grays and browns in a snowy landscape but is coaxed by her friend to look more closely. This book showcases a warm friendship and a fresh way of seeing things transform across a snow-covered landscape.
