Families are invited to one of the largest child passenger safety events in the country. Hosted by a pediatric injury prevention program at the IU School of Medicine, this free clinic helps Indiana families make sure their children are riding safely and correctly in the car.
At this event, parents and caregivers can receive a free car seat safety check along with one-on-one education from certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians. Technicians will inspect car seats, answer questions, and provide personalized guidance to help families feel confident about proper car seat use.
Families in need may also be able to receive a car seat at no cost during the clinic. In 2024, the event completed more than 140 inspections and provided more than 120 car seats to local families.
This event is first-come, first-served with no appointment required.
