Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Every visitor to The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis sees the Fireworks of Glass sculpture in the core of the museum, but do you know what it took to make it? Come to this program to find out!
- Discover the glassblowing process as you create your own plastic masterpiece
- Learn about the artist, Dale Chihuly
- Practice the techniques the artist used and other styles of art
- Get ready to color your world.
The Children’s Museum offers engaging programs for homeschool families that relate to museum exhibits and support state and national academic standards. Homeschool programs are recommended for children ages 6–10, although all ages are welcome with adult assistance. All program participants above the age of 2 must register. Program fees do not include nonmember museum admission.
