Are you ready for a day of pampering, fun, beauty, fashion, health, and more? Well ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Ladies’ (& Gentlemen’s) Day Out—a new event coming to Grand Park Sports Complex this October. Local businesses will be on hand sharing their products and services and Two Mom’s and A Wine Truck, Jenn and Katie will be the emcees for the event.
I know what you’re thinking. ‘Sounds good, but what about my kids?’ Your kids will feel pampered too, with entertainment like:
- The Frozen Trio: Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff will be visiting from Arendelle from 2-4 pm to pose for photos and sign autographs.
- Crafts: Mask-making with Superheroes and crown-making Princesses.
- Princess Tea Party*: This is an opportunity for 10 lucky winners. Follow the Ladies’ Day Out Facebook Page for more information.
- Fall Costume Contest: Dress up to win prizes! Please arrive by 4 pm and winners will be chosen at 4:30 pm. (TIP: Bring your treat bag, children in costumes will parade through the vendor booths to receive treats!)
Before you even ask, they have the men covered too. They can head to ‘The Man Cave.’ to play corn hole and other games while you are enjoying your day. Or, they can catch former NFL Player, Trent Shelton, for meet and greets from 11 am-1 pm. Shelton is now a motivational speaker and president of the Christian non-profit organization Rehab Time.
Best of all—it’s for a great cause. Ladies’ (& Gentlemen’s) Day Out has partnered with Riley Children’s Foundation. They have already received $5000 in donations from the community and there will a silent auction the day of the event.
Tickets are $5 at the door, but you are encourages to pre-purchase your tickets online for $3. Kids 12 and under are FREE and parking is also FREE.
