Indianapolis Art Center

Join us for the inaugural concert of the new Music on the Monon series at the Indianapolis Art Center.

Experience “Growing Up Baroque,” with music by Geminiani, Marais, Bach, and Vivaldi! IndyBaroque Music, Inc. team up with the Indianapolis Suzuki Academy to showcase iconic period pieces from the Suzuki books, performed on Baroque instruments in a historically-informed performance style.

The Indy Baroque Chamber Players, founded in 2017, is an ensemble consisting of musicians taken from the rosters of the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. Named one of the top 25 ensembles in celebration of Early Music America’s 25th anniversary in 2011, the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra is dedicated to excellent and exuberant performance of 17th and 18th-century music on period instruments. The members of the Indy Baroque Chamber Players are all recognized chamber music specialists who have been working together in other formations for many years, performing throughout the United States and indeed throughout the world.
