Library staff will lead children in a wide range of activities supporting early literacy, including chanting, singing, dancing, action songs and stories, rhythm practice, creative movement and role playing. The program will incorporate music from other cultures and classical music, as well as spatial concepts such as big/small; up/down; and over/under, and musical concepts such as fast/slow; high/low; and soft/loud. Children will practice both large and small motor skills.
Each session will be different. Register for as many or as few sessions as you’d like. Please register each child who will be participating. Older and younger siblings are welcome.
