Play, sing, laugh and dance at the Read to Me Jamboree Play and Learn Literacy Festival! This is a festival for preschoolers, early elementary and their families can meet children’s authors and illustrators, watch performances by special presenters and enjoy activities at the Clark Pleasant Branch Library. Caregivers will learn about Every Child Ready to Read early literacy practices and activities that they can do at home.
Headlining Events:
10:30 a.m.: Author Presentation and Book Signing with Oge Mora
1 p.m.: Author Presentation and Book Signing; Oge Mora
3 p.m. Jim Gill Musical Performance
Side Stage Events:
10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Rotarian Read-a-thon
11-11:30 a.m.: Daniel Tiger Meet and Greet
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Community Partners Information Fair
11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Free Historic Artcraft Theatre Popcorn, Cookies and Lemonade on the CPB front patio
11:30 a.m.: Meet Riggs – Whiteland Police K9 Demonstration
Noon-12:30 p.m.: Daniel Tiger Meet and Greet
12:30 p.m.: Meet Riggs – Whiteland Police K9 Demonstration
1-3 p.m.: Professor Watermelon- Storytime & Balloon Twisting
2-2:30 p.m.: Daniel Tiger Meet and Greet
