Eagle Creek Earth Discovery Center
After reading a nature-themed story, participants will be able to visit stations at their own pace. The stations will vary from week to week but may include puppets, coloring pages or art, games or active play, artifacts with a naturalist, animal visits, and more about the week’s topic. During nice weather, the program will meet at the EDC shelter behind the Go Ape! Cabin. If the weather is too cold or windy, we will meet in the nature center.
This program is probably best suited for preschool and kindergarten participants, but early elementary students are welcome to join us. A schedule of each month’s stories will be available the month before. This program is free with park admission. Adults must stay with their children for the duration of the program.
Story Time takes place weekly for the remainder of the year, but the day we meet will vary from month to month. Below is our schedule for the rest of the year, please check our Park Naturalist Facebook Events Page to find out which titles are being offered as well as additional information regarding the activity stations each week.

October – Thursdays
November – Wednesdays
December – Fridays
This is a free drop-in activity. No registration is required.
