Parke County maple syrup producers begin “tapping the maple trees” at winter’s end. Wander along county roads, discover world-famous covered bridges, and explore maple syrup camps throughout the county. Maple Fair Headquarters is located at the Parke County 4-H Fairgrounds, one mile north of Rockville, on US Highway 41. Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pancakes are served all day with whole hog sausage and delicious golden maple syrup. While there, enjoy a selection of pure maple syrup, maple syrup candy, maple cookies, homemade crafts, home-baked goods, jams and jellies, and much more.
