If you or your family loves Disney, then you don’t want to miss this annual parade that happens every year in the city of Chicago!
The Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is an all-day celebration event to kick off the holiday season. The event is held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The Light Festival Lane will take place 11am to 4pm with booths, complimentary photos with Santa and free family activities.
The highlight of this event is the parade down Michigan Ave where Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse of Walt Disney World® Resort leads the parade and illuminates the trees all along the “Mag Mile”. This year’s parade will also feature the Disney characters Buzz Lightyear and Woody, Anna and Elsa, Tiana and Belle, as well as marching bands from across the country, musical celebrities, Santa Kermit and his pal, Animal helium balloons and the parade will conclude with Santa Claus. after the parade is The Wintrust Fireworks Spectacular over the Chicago River.
