January 18-22, Disney on Ice: Follow Your Heart at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. This is the BIGGEST Disney event in Indianapolis. If you have a Disney fan, you can’t miss it. Join Mickey, Minnie, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Ariel, Elsa, Olaf, your friends from Finding Dory, and many more as they perform your favorite Disney songs on ice! It’s not too late to buy your tickets.
January 27th, Moana Sing Along opens in movie theaters. Your favorite new Disney hit is back with a sing-along version of “Moana” which includes the full feature film with on-screen lyrics. Now the audience can join in on the fun and sing their favorite tunes. Check show times at your favorite movie theater.
January 28th, 9:30-11:30 am, Princess and Pastries Party at the Five Seasons. Pastries, dancing, crafts, and pictures with your favorite princess await. Registration is required.
February 4th,1:30-3pm, Frozen Tea Party at Monon Community Center. Cost: $11/child, adults are free. Recommended for ages 2-9. The entire family is invited for this frozen-themed tea party with light refreshments, crafts, and a meet and greet with Elsa and Kristoff. Children are welcome to dress up as their favorite prince or princess. Register here:
February 7-12, The Little Mermaid Live at Murat Theatre. Broadway Across America is proud to present this enchanting Disney tale that will definitely take you and your entire family “under the sea!” You can purchase tickets here:
February 10th, 6-8 pm, My Princess and Me Dance at the Benjamin Harrison YMCA. Cost: $10/members, $20/non-members. Dress up and delight in princess themed activities and food. Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 8th.
March 9th, 10-11 am, Princess Tea Party at Broad Ripple Park. Cost: $6, Recommended for ages 3-5. Join the Duchesses of Broad Ripple Park, Kathy and Taylor, as they delight your little princess with crafts, games, stories, songs, and a tea party, Don’t forget your favorite princess attire. Pre-Registration is required.
March 17th, Beauty and the Beast opens in movie theaters. Critics are raving about this enchanting film starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. Don’t miss this live action adaptation of Disney’s beloved animated classic.
May 14th, 1:15-3 pm (VIP 12:30 pm), Indianapolis Royal Ball at the Indianapolis Marriott East. Cost: $32/General Admission, $47/VIP. VIP guests gain early entrance and are invited to participate in an official Coronation Ceremony where your little one will be crowned up on stage with a tiara that’s theirs to keep. Everyone needs a ticket except infants (under 12 months). Make a wish upon some pixie dust, learn Princess manners and ballroom dance moves, participate in a rescue the Princess mission and story time sing along. All of your favorite princesses will be there!
October 13-November 11, Pinocchio at Beef and Boards. Our favorite dinner theatre brings this classic story of a puppet who so desperately wanted to be a real boy. Join Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, and of course our dear Pinocchio on this incredible and witty adventure with your little ones.
Finally, every morning, Unlock the Magic at the Disney Store at Castleton Square Mall. It may be the best kept secret in town, but did you know that the first person in line for the Disney store gets a giant key to unlock the store in a magical opening ceremony complete with a fireworks display on the ceiling? Following the ceremony, the lucky boy or girl gets their very own keepsake key. For more info call the Disney store.
