Brrrr! It’s been a cold winter, but there are lots of great homeschool events in Indianapolis worth bundling up and leaving the house to attend. Here are some I think you won’t want to miss this February:

Homeschool Adventures: Indianapolis Public Library – Franklin Road Branch

February 1 and 15 at 1:30 pm
Homeschoolers ages 6-12 can have fun completing education activities together. Parents are invited to join the fun!

Homeschool Tuesday at the Indiana State Museum

Tuesday, February 6 at 11:30 am
Kids in grades 3-8 can learn more about the Underground Railroad and various stops located in Indiana.

Full STEAM Ahead Homeschool Enrichment at the Fishers Library

Thursday, February 8 at 3 pm
Homeschoolers ages 5-12 will learn more about natural and historic disasters and see if they can build structures strong enough to withstand them. This event is free and no registration is required.

Farm to Table at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Thursday, February 8 at 1 pm
Learn more about how to grow food at home, and how animals are a necessary part of our ecosystem’s balance. Registration is required and TCM members get a discount on their class fee.

Homeschool Valentine Party at the Greenwood Public Library

Wednesday, February 14 at Noon

Bring a snack and some Valentine cards to share, and join other homeschoolers for a day of activities and a movie. Registration is requested.

Homeschool Hikers at Cool Creek Nature Park

Tuesday, February 20 at 1 pm
School-aged kids can get outdoors and have fun learning more about hibernating insects on this fun hike. The event is free but registration is requested.
