First Night of Fall Celebration at the 100 Acres

On Thursday, September 20th, at 7:30pm, come celebrate the first night of fall at the Lake Terrace in the 100 Acres at the IMA. Inspired by Ghost Festival traditions in China and Japan, enjoy music from members of the Butler University Orchestra and composer Nat Evans as they perform from boats floating on the 100 Acres Lake! Attendees will release lanterns from shore as darkness approaches! (all ages invited)

Kids and Adults age 10 and up are invited to arrive early at 6pm and help construct the lanterns with visual artist Erin Elyse Burns. This event will take place rain or shine, please dress for the weather! This is a FREE event.
