Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we’re feeling the love with all the fun events Indy has to offer. Take a look at our list and share the love your family all month long. Make sure to register early because many of these events will fill up fast!

Valentine’s Day Crafts

Michael’s, various locations
February 2, 10 and 17 from 10 a.m.-Noon

Parents can shop while the kids craft with Michael’s Kids Club. This class is structured for children age 3 and up and all supplies are included for $2 a kid.l guest.

Make and Take Valentines

Garfield Conservatory on Indy’s Southside
February 3 from 11 a.m.-Noon

Kids age 3-13 are invited to make their own Valentine’s Day cards using natural materials. Cost is $5.

 

Crafty Kids

Plainfield-Guilford Library
February 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Our local libraries present the best free programming for families. Kids can join the Plainfield-Guilford Library to design a unique Valentine with craft foam.

 

Valentine’s Dance

Greenwood Community Center
February 9 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Put on your dancing shoes and grab the little ones for an evening of love, fun and community celebration! Tickets are $5 per couple and $1 for each additional guest.

 

Valentine’s Day Cabaret

Peewinkle Puppet Studio at the Indiana State Museum
February 10-13, various times

This month, kids can enjoy a Valentine’s theme show in old world style. Peewinkle’s provides captivating children’s entertainment with marionettes and puppets. Tickets are $13.

 

American Girl: A Valentine Tea

Hussey – Mayfield Memorial Public Library in Zionsville
February 13 from 10-10:30 a.m.

Preschoolers can bring their favorite doll to the library for a Valentine tea, games and a craft.

 

Daddy-Daughter Dance  

Franklin Recreation Center
February 17 from 6:30-8:30

Dads and daughters can dance the night away and enjoy appetizers, sweets, photo opportunities, party favors and more. Tickets are $37 per couple and $25 for each additional child.

Royal Ball

Noblesville Parks & Recreation
February 17 from 7-9 p.m.

Parents can bring their favorite princess or knight for a royal ball with Noblesville Parks and Rec. The semi-formal event will include a carriage ride, sundae bar, fun activities, and a framed photo from the night. Cost is $30 per couple for residents and $8 for each additional child.

 

Mother-Son Night Out

Hi-Way Lanes Bowling Alley
February 17 from 7-9 p.m.

Moms and sons can have their own special date with a night of bowling, pizza, breadsticks, drinks, sweets, photo opportunities and party favors. Cost is $27 per couple and $20 for each additional child.

 

 

Tie Die Valentine Tees

Lil Bloomers in Noblesville
February 3 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Kids will love making their own special tie dye shirt they can wear on Valentine’s Day. Cost is $10 per t-shirt.

 

Prairie Tykes: Valentine’s Day

Conner Prairie
February 8 from 9:30-11 a.m.

Connect one-on-one with your preschooler while you make crafts, dance, sing and take part in the special activity of the day. Little siblings are welcome as well. Tickets are $11 for member children and $12 for non-members. Adults are free.

 

Valentine’s Dance

Hendricks Regional Health YMCA
February 9 from 6-8 p.m.

Join the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA for a one of a kind date night with the kids. Activities include music, games, snacks, a themed photo space with a photographer, and more! Cost is $10 a couple for members and $15 for non members. Extra children are $5.

 

LED light up Valentine’s Card

Wonderlab Museum of Science in Bloomington
February 10 from 1-3 p.m.

Kids will love learning about circuits as they make a one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day card using LED lighting. Materials are $2.50 per card, plus museum admission.

 

Family Valentine’s Day

Nickel Plate Arts in Noblesville
February 11 from Noon-5 p.m.

Families are invited to share the love with a day of fun including children’s activities, crafts and sweet treats. Cost is $5 for each craft. Admission is free and guests are encouraged to come and go as they please throughout the day.

 

Homeschool Valentine’s Party

Greenwood Library
February 14 from 12-1 p.m.

Just because your homeschooled, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on class parities. Head to the Greenwood library to enjoy a Valentine’s Day party just for homeschoolers. This free event will include games, activities, and a movie playing. Feel free to bring Valentine’s cards to hand out or a snack to share with the group.

 

Dad Daughter Date Night

Mooresville High
February 17 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Dads can take their daughters out for a special Valentine’s date including a night of music, dancing and fun. Snacks and beverages will be provided, and girls registered by February 9 will receive a corsage and gift at the end of the evening. Tickets are $20 per couple and $12 for each additional guest.
