Free Choir Program for Kids Age 8 and Up

Free Choir Program for Kids Age 8 and Up

St. Paul’s Choir School is the only free choral youth program in Indianapolis that offers scholarships for instrumental lessons!

St. Paul’s Choir School’s announces open enrollment for the 2015 fall semester – now through September! This after-school enrichment program provides musical opportunities to area youth, free of charge. The St. Paul’s Choir School offers children individual instruction in music theory and vocal training. Children participate weekly in an inter-generational choir. This blend of choristers teaching (and learning from) one another results in strong social skills, leadership abilities and good citizenship.

In addition to singing for weekly services, there are opportunities to sing Choral Evensong, concerts with orchestra, participate in tours within the United States and abroad and take advantage of summer musical experiences. St. Paul’s Choir School’s Choral Scholar program provides scholarships to worthy young singers, exhibiting leadership and commitment to the choir program, for individual instruction on the instrument of the student’s choice. This is a $2,000 value!

Parents of youth (ages 8+) interested in musical development for their children are invited to learn more about this free program. Students are welcome to apply, regardless of religious affiliation or musical ability, and do not need to be members of St. Paul’s or the Episcopal Church.
