Free Plane Rides for Kids at Greenwood Airport Open House

airplane 1

The Greenwood Municipal Airport will host an open house on Saturday, September 28th, from 9am-3pm. This is a HUGE event and a HIT with everyone who attends.

Why should you go? There are activities for the whole family INCLUDING free plane rides for kids ages 8-17. Not joking!

There will be bounce houses, an Air Force K-135 tanker simulator, flight simulators to sit in, historical aircrafts scattered all around to walk thru and look at, a car show, a motorcycle show, some home-built airplanes visitors can see up close, face painting and food on-site for purchase. All proceeds from food purchases will go toward the Johnson County Fraternal Order of Police Shop-with-a-Cop program.

Read my lips: DO NOT MISS THIS! Especially if you have kids 8-17 who are totally excited about planes and flying and adventure. Oh, and seriously, the plane rides are FREE!
