Grassy Spaces: Indians Baseball, Conner Prairie & Art in the Park

After several weeks of warm temperatures, many of us are sorely disappointed by the cooler weather that has returned but if you are anything like us you aren’t letting it hold you back! Here’s a little roundup of all the new grassy spaces and places that we’ve been talking about on Indianapolis with Kids. We have a lot more coming up next week!

The Indianapolis Indians opening night is this Friday and you don’t want to miss out on these great ticket deals, including the 60 degree free ticket guarantee AND the two for one opening night ticket deal!

Conner Prairie is open for outdoor fun on the weekends! Look at all there is to do!

One of my favorite outdoor spaces in the city is the 100 Acres at the IMA. If you are a regular of Indianapolis with Kids, you’ll see a lot about the 100 Acres whenever the weather is nice because there is so much going on! Other than being just a really cool place to visit, they have a lot of fun activities for families!

This Saturday at 9am, meet up at the Type A Align installment at the 100 Acres for a Saturday in the Park activity: It’s Hula Hoop Fun for ages 5 and beyond. This is a free family activity that aims to help participants see art and nature differently through activities!

Every Sunday from noon until 4pm, visitors to the IMA 100 Acres are invited to drop in to the Visitor Center for a free Art in the Park session. Teaching artists are on hand to help visitors of all ages with a themed art project.
