With temperatures in the 100’s (holy heck, I DID just write that!), we’re still looking for a way to get out of the heat! We had plans to attend the concert in Carmel tonight but I’m sorry, I just can’t imagine enjoying myself in this heat and humidity! So, we headed over to Huddles Frozen Yogurt on the north side (1356 E. 86th Street – and a Carmel location soon).

Huddles Frozen Yogurt is delish! There are often new flavors to sample and I love that! Today we tried Georgia Peach with Raspberry syrup and Chocolate with Walnuts, strawberries and blueberries. Yum! This place isn’t anything like Baskin Robbins or Coldstone. You and your kids will really enjoy selecting your favorite flavor, filling your cup as much or as little as you need and serving up your own toppings. Choose from cereal, fruit, candy, cookies and a variety of syrups, hot and cold.

The price was 45 cents per ounce. I spent $5 on my yogurt but I had extra fruit toppings for Lulu since it was too hot for me to cook her a proper dinner. Oh you know you’ve made your kids survive on sandwiches and fruit and frozen yogurt at least once! There wasn’t a lot of indoor seating available but we were lucky and snagged a couple of tables and chairs for our large group.

Huddles is another place that is right off of the Monon Trail. If you are crazy out walking or riding your bikes, stop in here for a fun way to have a special treat. 100% custom! Huddles is open until 10pm Sunday-Thursday and open until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights! Perfect for these super hot late nights.
