Start the first weekend of March off right with some family friendly activities in Indianapolis! Here are some top picks for this upcoming weekend. For a complete list of activities, check out our calendar. Have fun this weekend!

Friday, March 3

Don’t forget, kids eat free on Friday at these locations.

On Friday morning, head out to see Angry Birds, the first movie featured in the Morning Movie series at the Goodrich Quality Theaters in Noblesville. Join the Frequent Moviegoer Club and see the morning movies for free!  Non-members are $1 per person and the movie starts at 10am.

In the afternoon, take your kids to story time at Books and Brews. Story time is from 4pm to 5pm then stay for a light dinner and a beer afterwards!

In the evening, check out Pajama-Rama at Cool Creek Park & Nature Center. Kids ages 1-7 can come dressed in pajamas to enjoy music, songs and stories. This event is free and starts at 7pm.

Saturday, March 4

On the first Saturday morning of each month, check out the free Kids Workshops at Home Depot.  The hours are 9am to 12pm, and be sure to check local stores for details or if registration is required.

Head down to Lucas Oil Stadium for the NFL Combine Experience 2017. This free event requires registration, but you can choose from different dates and times.

Check out the Maple Syrup Fun at Southeastway Park. Participants will explore the sugar bush, learn how maple syrup was made in the past, see it being made at the park, taste some real maple syrup and receive a tasty treat!  This event costs $6.00 for participants and is recommended for ages 3 and up.


Sunday, March 5

Get a taste of spring with a visit to the IMA for the Orchid Exhibit.  This exhibit is included in the price of admission.  The last day for this exhibit is today, March 5!
