July is the heart of summer in Indy and the last month before school starts back up. We have all the info you need to stay active all month long.
Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation is known for their amazing Waterpark at the Monon. Last month we told you about their Adaptive Open Swim events that are perfect for sensory friendly kids. This month we want to draw attention to the Adaptive FlowRider experience, which is held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:15-8:45pm, June through August. The FlowRider is a special wave machine that is similar to boogie boarding or surfing in the ocean. With these special adaptive sessions, staff are available to adapt instruction, making it possible for anyone to ride the wave. All ability levels are welcome to participate. Registration is required.
