On Friday, May 1, the group known online as Indy Biplane will conduct a flyover of many central Indiana hospitals. They will be flying in a six plane formation with aerobatic smoke trails.
Additionally, the Indiana Air National Guard will conduct a flyover on Saturday.
Group member, Monty Miller says that the group will conduct a “Hope flight over some Indy, Carmel, and Noblesville hospitals and surrounding areas this evening between 6 and 7 PM. This is to honor both first responders, Nurses and Doctors battling this virus and also for the average person, waitress, bartender, hairdressers etc. who are hurting because of the shutdown. Our thoughts and prayers are with every one of you.”
Please remember that you are encouraged NOT to drive to locations to see this, it’s simply a symbol of love and hope meant to be seen in the areas of the flight path.
