Ralph Breaks the Internet is playing NOW in theaters everywhere! In Ralph Breaks the Internet, Wreck-it Ralph and friends leave the arcade behind and hit the cyber world on an epic quest of friendship, learning and challenges — social, intellectual and physical.
Disney takes a fun poke at their own tendencies to apply stereotypes to their characters while sending the biggest Disney fans on a little seek and find of characters and hidden gems. Adults will laugh as much as the children. The lessons and takeaways from Ralph Breaks the Internet are important and Disney hits a home run with this one.
My husband and I enjoyed the movie a lot. 24 hours later I’m still considering this the best animated Disney movie I’ve seen as an adult. My eight year old and six year old loved the movie and handled the tense moments very well, but my six year old got a little emotional about loss and missing people. My four year old cried at least once during the movie and had two different occasions where I had to comfort him and reassure him that everything will be okay. My two year old mirrored my four year old in his mannerisms but didn’t really seem to know exactly what was going on.
Thanks to Disney, Indy with Kids was able to invite 25 Indianapolis area families to take part in an early screening of Ralph Breaks the Internet. Families tested out the new Noovie Arcade app before the movie started and enjoyed seeing Ralph Breaks the Internet two days before it hit theaters. Here’s the video synopsis from Disney: Video-game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and best friend Vanellope (voice of Sarah Silverman) leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game. Their quest takes them to the vast world of the internet, a world Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces—so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had.
