Can’t wait for football season to start back up again? You don’t have to wait because many of the state’s university football teams have a Spring Scrimmage game where fans can check out next season’s team. This is a great opportunity to take your kids into a college football stadium and get a small taste of a football game for FREE, or at a small fee depending on the school. Some even have pre-game or post-game activities to get autographs, get on the field and more. We’ve got the all the details to help your family experience football this Spring.
Saturday, April 8th
Purdue Black & Gold Game at Ross-Ade Stadium- 11 am Family Fun Fest north of stadium with activity stations for kids. Game starts at 1 pm. Both are free and immediately following the game is an autograph session with all the players and coaches.
Thursday, April 13th
Indiana University Cream & Crimson Game at Memorial Stadium-7 pm Game Time. This game will be televised on the Big Ten Network. At this time no other details have been released however, at last years game there was a youth football clinic and the first 1,000 fans got free hotdogs.
Saturday, April 15th
Ball State Spring Football Game at Scheumann Stadium – Noon Game time. Chirp! Chirp!
Friday, April 21st
Indiana State Spring Football Game at Memorial Stadium – 3:30 pm game time.
Saturday, April 22nd
Notre Dame Blue & Gold Game – 12:30 pm game time, gates open at 11:30 am. Tickets required and if you buy in advance you will get a discount. Kids under 3 are Free. Prior to the game your kids can participate in Game Day Yoga for Free, however registration is encouraged. Bring your own mat and at 9 am meet at the Sundial south of Jordan Hall of Science. Parking for the whole day is Free and on a first come first serve basis.
