February 2-April 7, 2019

Coming to Indy at warp speed, the American classic Star Trek will beam up to The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis on February 2, 2019. “Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds” complements the museum’s permanent exhibit, American POP—a permanent exhibit for visitors to explore American pop culture.

Featuring more than 100 rare artifacts from the iconic television series, spinoffs, and films, the exhibit highlights Star Trek’s impact on culture, society, arts, sports, technology, and fashion. Trekkies of all ages will explore set pieces from the original series like the navigation console, sit in a replica of Captain Kirk’s command chair, and see original series costumes for Kirk, Spock, Uhura, and McCoy and the 6-foot U.S.S. Enterprise filming model from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

So, boldly go where no man has gone before and see “Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds“, organized by the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
