The kids are counting down the number of days until school lets out. We are about a month away and I am not ready for summer. I am thankful that our team has put together an incredible list of things to do this summer.

Let’s kick off summer fun Memorial Day weekend with the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” the Indy 500. The 500 Festival Parade is such a fun family event. We love the huge floats, talented bands, and of course, the drivers! Watch for free along the route or buy seats with amazing views. 

 

 

Hopefully, this weekend is full of beautiful Spring-like weather. If not, no worries. We will still #PLAYIndy.

Welcome to Fairyville

The 12th annual Noblesville Creates Fairyville alights all over downtown Noblesville April 17–20, with most events free. This whimsical event is open to wee folks of all ages! Dance in the parade, make a wand or a small fairy house, vote for your favorite miniature fairy house, have a fairy tea party, and more.

Earth Day Events

Luckily for us, there are many ways to celebrate Mother Nature as a family in the greater Indianapolis area this weekend. Get free admission to any national park, learn how to get creative with recycled materials, participate in a community trash clean-up, plant seeds, and more. Attend any of these fun events with your family, or spend the day at one of our beautiful parks to create some wonderful Earth Day memories.

Butler Ballet presents Prokofiev’s Cinderella

Get transported to “happily ever after” when the Butler Ballet performs Cinderella, a magical three-act ballet based on the familiar fairy tale. Take the magical journey with Cinderella as her Fairy Godmother transforms her from rags to riches despite her outrageous stepsisters. The story comes alive in grand ballet style, complete with a pumpkin coach. All accompanied by the marvelous 20th-century score by Sergei Prokofiev performed by the Butler Ballet Orchestra. Choose from various showtimes throughout the weekend. Tickets are available at the Clowes box office and online.

Code Ninjas in Greenwood is hosting another amazing, three-hour Parent’s Night Out. This Friday, April 19 is a Minecraft Madness-themed event. Drop your kids off at Code-Ninjas where they will lay games, assemble puzzles, code games, and more. Peanut Butter & Jam: Premium Blend
