There’s a pretty cool event that takes place every year in Chicago. Chicago Toy and Game Week is a VERY big deal for anyone who loves toys, and especially for those who have created or invented toys or games. In addition to being an amazing expo that’s super hands-on, there’s an awards show!

The Tagies take place on the Friday before the show opens to the public and it’s a pretty amazing event. Think of the Tagies as sort of like the Emmy’s of the toy industry.

This year, I’ll be at the Tagies so that I can share all of the exciting winning toys with you all, but for now, here are the nominees for best toy and game inventors of the year.
