Do you have a kid who loves to dress up? Or maybe you want to get the most out of this year’s Halloween Costume. Each year we try to scope out all the local opportunities to don the costume and ask for candy. And now I’m here to share some of those opportunities with you.

While we’re waiting to see if Indianapolis allows Trick or Treating and other cities have announced their Halloween times here’s a list of all of the best places to go for trunk or treat!
Trunk or Treat Locations for Thursday, October 29
Spooky Stroll at Garfield Park
Garfield Park Arts Center, 2432 Conservatory Drive, Indianapolis
Start your stroll outside the Arts Center and listen to kid-friendly scary tales as you walk to the Conservatory. Take a self-guided walk through the spooky Conservatory, then enter the Sunken Garden for a socially-distanced trick or treat event. Take a pumpkin and decorating kit home, too! Pre-registration is required and is $5 per person. Register early as this event is anticipated to sell out.
Trunk or Treat for Friday, October 30
Trunk or Treat at Town Hall in Bargersville
24 N. Main Street, Bargersville
Trunk or treat at this free family-friendly event in front of Bargersville’s Town Hall. Social distancing will be practiced and masks must be worn.
Trot N Treat
1350 Terry Drive, Plainfield
Join Strides to Success to see horses dressed in costumes and pick up pre-packaged treats. This event will be held in the barn, social distancing will be practiced, and everything will be sanitized frequently. The event is free, but donations are always welcome.
Riley Park Eastside, US40 & Apple Street, Greenfield
Join the Greenfield Parks and Recreation for a socially-distanced trunk or treat. This fun, safe event will take place in the Riley Park Apple Street parking lot rain or shine.
Drive Thru Halloween at the Y
Hendricks Regional Health YMCA, 301 Satori Parkway, Avon
Bring your whole family to this contactless Halloween event. Treats will be placed in vehicles by YMCA staff. No registration is required.
Drive Thru Halloween Event
7440 Hague Road, Indianapolis
SpeakIndy and Common Ground Church are partnering up to sponsor this sensory and allergy friendly Halloween event. Dress in costume, then stay in your car while driving to booths with activities to be done from your vehicle. Treats will be passed out along the way!
Trunk or Treat – Serenity Dance Connections
600 West Northfield Drive, Brownsburg (Parking lot by Kohl’s)
Join Serenity Dance Connections for this trunk or treat. Wear your favorite costume and mask and receive lots of goodies.
Where to Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31

Talon Stream Paved Trail, 5344 Pike Lane, Plainfield
This free outdoor event will feature a Trunk or Treat and photo ops for your family, so be sure to come dressed in costume. Masks are required and COVID precautions will be taken, such as additional cleaning and social distancing.
Sammy’s Halloween Spooktacular at Ceraland
Cereland Park (in front of the Aquatic Center), 3989 S 525 E, Columbus
Visit Cereland Park for trick or treating in the campground. There will be games and a costume contest, too!

Join the Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207 for decorated cars and candy. The public is welcome to this free event.
6025 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis
The Dance Company is calling all monsters to a parking lot spooktacular. Dress up your kids and bring them to this socially distanced event to get some treats.
Town of McCordsville Trunk or Treat
McCordsville Town Hall Parking Lot, 6280 W 800 N, McCordsville
Vehicles will be socially distanced. All attendees are required to wear masks or face coverings. Pre-packaged candy will be handed out. This event will be canceled in the event of rain.
Trunk or Treat with Center Grove Robotics
2797 Trojan Lane, Greenwood
See STEAM themed trunks at this event hosted by Center Grove’s Red Alert Robotics Team. Come show off your costume and get some candy! This event will be outside, weather permitting. Hosts will be social distancing and wearing facial coverings and gloves.
Trick or Treat Trail
1101 Indianapolis Road, Mooresville
Registration is required for this event for kids ages 2-12. Walk the ½ mile trail around Pioneer Park to encounter scenes from favorites storybooks, cartoons, and movies. Treats will be available along the way. Registration is limited to 50 children per half hour time slot. Registration begins October 1 for Brown Township residents and October 8 for non-residents. You can register at the Mooresville Park office or online. Costumes are encouraged and face coverings are required.

Join Terrace Lake Church for this free event to see fun themed trunks, play games, and receive pre-packaged treats for your kids.
Halloween Drive Thru Trick or Treat
40 South Alabama Street, Indianapolis
Wear your costumes and drive by the Marion County Sheriff’s office for a treat from Deputies and staff.
Fort Harrison Halloween Bash
6000 N. Post Road, Indianapolis
Join Fort Harrison State Park for an evening of Halloween and fall activities. All activities included with standard gate admission.
CBC Greenfield Trunk or Treat
1450 West Main Street, Greenfield
Trunk or treat with Calvary Baptist Church on Halloween. Please wear masks and social distance for this safe, family fun event.
JB Stephens Elementary Trunk or Treat Drive-Thru
1331 N. Blue Road, Greenfield
Dress up in costume and drive through this trunk or treat. Each child will receive a pre-packaged bag of candy from the masked and gloved volunteers.
Boo Bash Trick or Treat Trail – Canceled for 2020

Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, 6 Municipal Dr, Fishers
Join Fishers Parks for socially-distanced trick or treating from over 50 local businesses. There will also be giveaways, Teal Pumpkin Project booths, a digital costume contest, and jack-o-lanterns on display.

Register with the Johnson County Public Library for this free event featuring a story time, trick or treating, and fun fall activities. Be sure to visit the story walk and read “Come Home Already” while you’re there.
Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24
Halloween Town in Franklin
Compete in the Virtual Halloween Hustle 5K (preregister by Oct. 14), visit Halloween-decorated homes using the map on the event Facebook page. Cars will be set up on North Main Street from Jefferson Street to King Street. Trick or treaters can collect treats from trunks and businesses. Sammy Terry will also be at 2 pm and 7:30 pm show at the Artcraft Theater Nearby.
Trick-or-Treat Trail in Whitestown
4671 Anson Boulevard, Whitestown
Join Whitestown Parks and Recreation for a safe, free, family-friendly trick or treating event. This will be an open-house style event where you can come and go as you please. Vendors will be safely spaced along the trail and families can decide if they would like to go into the “spooky” woods. There will also be a bonfire and pumpkins available for purchase
Greenwood Parks Halloween Parade
This year Greenwood Parks will be hosting a Halloween Parade instead of its annual Monster Mash event. Attendees of all ages can dress up and line the streets on the parade route from Surina Way and Washington Street, west on Main Street, and south on Madison Avenue back to Surina Way. Vendors will throw candy from their Halloween-themed floats.
Rowdie’s Pumpkin Patch at Victory Field
501 West Maryland Street, Indianapolis
Join Rowdie and trunk or treat on the Victory Field concourse with Indians staff members passing out pre-packed candy from Toyota vehicles. There will also be 1000 pumpkins in the outfield, and each child can take one home. You can also enjoy hayrides, a costume contest, pumpkin colorings, and socially-distanced photos with Rowdie. Tickets are $5 per person (ages 2 and under are free) and include one pumpkin for each child age 14 and under. Ticket proceeds benefit Indianapolis Indians Charities.
Ghosts and Goblins Drive-Thru
115 S. County Road 575 East, Avon
Cars will follow a set path through Washington Park to pick up treats from vendors along the way. The path will go under a haunted bridge and end with candidates sharing political information “if you’re brave enough to drive that way!”
Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat
Kingsway Christian Church, 7981 E County Road 100 N, Avon
This community event will take place in the Kingsway parking lot. More details to come on the Kingsway website.
Trunk or Treat at EUMC Noblesville
16000 Cumberland Road, Noblesville
Families are welcome to trunk or treat decorated vehicles in the Emmanuel parking lot. Families with last names beginning A-L are asked to come from 4-5pm and M-Z from 5-6pm. Pre-register for this family event on the Emmanuel United Methodist Church website. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Monster Mash Trunk or Treat Drive-Thru
600 E. County Rd 50 N, Danville (Gary Eakin Park)
Dress in costume and drive “trunk to trunk” at this free, safe event hosted by Danville Parks and Friends. Costumes and Donations are encouraged.
Trail and Treat at Williams Park
940 Locust Lane, Brownsburg
Come to this free event for fun, safe trick or treating around Williams Park. You can also stay for the “Boo-vie”, Casper, on the LED screen beginning at 6 pm.
Halloween Fall Fest
Donner Park, Columbus
Businesses will decorate booths and hand out candy along the “spooky” Donner trails. There will be a costume contest for ages 0-5 at 6 pm and a costume contest for ages 6-12 at 7 pm.

Trunk or Treat in Danville
West Bridge Church, 1521 County Road 75W, Danville
Join the free and safe trunk or treat event at West Bridge Church. They will have pre-wrapped candy bags, games, music, and a photo booth.
Trunk or Treat Indianapolis
9511 Angola Court, Indianapolis
Join Mercy Road Church Northwest for their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat. This family-friendly event will take place in their huge parking lot, so social distancing will be easy. There will also be food trucks and a car show.

Colts Drive-Thru Halloween Celebration
South Lot, Lucas Oil Stadium – Enter via Gate 8
Join the Colts for a Halloween Celebration featuring giveaways, the chance to virtually meet Colts players, and take a photo with Blue, the Colts Mascot. Items will be distributed to fans inside their vehicles in the South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium (Enter Gate 8). There will be a limit of 4 items per vehicle and children must be present to receive items. Staff will be social distancing and following health guidelines. Pre-register on the Colt’s website. Arrive early if you do not pre-register and would like one of the limited number of drive-up spots.
