GermanFest has much more kid appeal than the name might suggest. Dachshund races run at 1, 2, and 3 PM, plus live music, German food, short Athenaeum building tours, and Kinderland, a free kids’ area with face painting and hands-on activities. This would make fantastic Reel footage, especially the wiener dog races.
