Adventures in Archeology
Archeologist and Assistant Naturalist, Marnie Plunket will bring everyone up to date on Indiana history. Marnie will share the best locations in the state for scratching that history itch including some lesser-known spots. Let’s dig deeper into history.

Moth Magic
Amanda Smith, Superintendent of Natural Resources & Education, will speak about moths. During the program, you will have lure bait and lights outside the auditorium to attract moths. After the program, you will explore which moths have joined you for the evening. This program will start late so that you can run into the mothing hours. The presentation will begin at 8:00. Feel free to come and go during the mothing portion of the evening.

Seed Harvesting and Propagation: (AKA: Free Plants!)
Nature Dan Popiela, Cool Creek Park Naturalist, will share his knowledge on harvesting and propagating seeds. From trees and bushes to forbs and grasses, Dan will share the tricks of the trade for germination and getting the most from your seed collection efforts.

Ticks Suck
If you enjoy nature, you’ve most likely run into ticks. Park Naturalist Zach McNulty will educate you on what you need to know about ticks and tick-borne pathogens, what to look for, and how to protect ourselves.
