On Tuesday, August 6 the Greenwood Police Department will host their National Night Out from 5pm to 7pm at Ampitheater Park.
National Night Out Against Crime is an event that enhances the relationship between law enforcement and the community they serve. This event educates on crime prevention and safety, with police, fire personnel and other public safety agencies that will be there to interact with, do demonstrations and have safety vehicles on site for the public to explore. There will be plenty of giveaways from local businesses and vendors at the event. Free food (hot dogs, drinks and snacks) is often provided. For families, kids can enjoy free activities including bounce houses, games and more.
