National Night Out is an annual event that aims to promote partnerships between police and communities. As a law enforcement family, we look forward to National Night Out. It is so fun for the kids to get out and see support for family members who risk their lives to serve the community.
Many police agencies throughout the United States participate and Central Indiana is home to quite a few excellent celebrations. Typically held on the first Tuesday in August, this year’s events will take place on August 6, with a few exceptions. Expect to find free food, games, giveaways, plenty of police cars to check out, and even bouncy houses for the kids. Everyone is invited to join, so go ahead and put one of these events on your calendar!
